We must be such an odious, vile, reprehensible bunch. All this negativity and unwelcome signage is simply going to drive more MHs into parking on the roadside. Not as nice for anyone, but there we go. It’s ridiculous, since most of us would gladly pay a reasonable fee to park and sleep.

Not really all of us, just the way all types of a group get lumped in together as in;

Not all Travellers are bad people.
Not all CND, BLM, ER and Anti War potesters are.

But collectively is how people and groups are treated.

Especially in cases like this when the Council, Police and other bodies cannot make exceptions.

That is when looking at the official approach.

As I have found in one of my preferred Freedom Camping spots when disturbed by locals who were worried that I was a vanguard of an invasion of Travellers and wanted to dissuade me from staying and dispoiling their local area.

this is typical of carmarthen council and its even worse here in Pembrokeshire. The council here know there will be more motorhomes and campervans than ever this year and they have nothing to help the situation apart from putting signs up everywhere saying no overnight parking. Not exactly welcoming.

If the photo in post #8 is factual then the only ones to blame are the ones in the photo . OK so the council may have been acting following reports but that’s often the trigger that’s required.

Sadly its genuine , and the numbers have been building again and there are plans for new houses so its a way of clearing the area before the developing starts. It was funny when discussing the development many MH's complained where would they go me I said I would be at the front on the cue to buy one. (even though I said I would never buy newbuild again,
