Guess who left the Fridays and freezer open after our last trip (3 weeks ago) but left the fridge and freezer running . Now having to defrost an iceberg from the freezer

I very nearly did something similar last wek.
I plugged the electric in to top the batteries up but didn't check whether 220v volt was selected on the fridge. I leave the fridge door slightly ajar to keep it aired so I was cooling the whole van for a few days

All defrosted now but if anyone needs some ice for their g&t then it’s on my drive 
Having drained the water system, I unknowingly knocked the kitchen tap and only detected the pump still running the next day. Fingers crossed, it's checked out as still serviceable.
