BSB to TNT Pay to View!

One has to be careful what one says on a public forum but an andriod tv device could be the answer.

I guess the le man's 24 hour in June will be behind a pay wall in UK too

BBC to their credit actually , recently did a programme on Radio 4 last week about the Android box crackdown , but they also showed that just to follow all the major UK and European Football games you need 5 subscriptions costing £166 a month ,and 7 if you want Cricket , rugby and motorsport and certain entertainment streams , as its all so fragmented and complex and that its getting worse , and that a major backlash is inevitable ......but you can now be fined up to £5000 for using an android box or a modified Fire stick ....which is ridiculous ....

However there are ways of streaming all the sport that is not detectable and its growing , It is also now damaging the VPNs and broadband provides business models as a conflict between them and their customers versus the Content copyright owners is growing to a toxic conclusion according to The experts and consultants the BBC were asking ....

If you are an EE customer you might get discounted access to TNT via one of their account ‘add on’ options (if they’re still doing it) and you’ll also get MotoGP, World Endurance, Dakar, Speedway (I think). Still more bloody expense though.

The problem is the subscription model. I don't want to watch every football team, I only am interested in Aston Villa matches. Likewise I only want to watch motorcycle racing, I just don't want all of the other sorts that are packaged with the present subscriptions

Any idea then if the ITV 4 highlights will be on?

I am swopping from Sky on which we have the sports package for F1, golf, tennis and cycling, to EE TV plus sports package. We already have EE broadband £30 and the Sky has shot up double in last couple of years to £80 so to loose Eurosport the last straw.
We only took out Sky as our arial reception terrible but added sport as we slowed down a bit in retirement.
New package with EE TV £27 to include broadband and TV, the box etc but I have added “big sport” at £40 to continue to get the sports John likes (not any football). That is TNT channels and Sky Sports. So still half price on the Sky which would have gone up to £110 if we added TNT back in.

Equipment arrived today so tomorrow might be a fun day setting it up 🤔🙁

The fly in the ointment will be if the broadband copes as despite all the ads, we still have copper telephone wires delivering from the fibre box up the road. Sky came in through a dish on roof.

All the races from Moto gp Thailand are now on YouTube in full, appeared Monday evening for me. I'm happy to wait to watch for free so to speak.
I anticipate WSB / BSB will be same.

Loosing BSB & WSBK was the last straw, as I'm out of contract with SKY, I'll be ditching the whole lot and save some money.

As a keen cyclist and cycling supporter I used to subscribe to Discovery+. This has now ended, but as an EE customer I get TNT sports bundled with a new TV. I now pay £13 a month for a new TV and get TNT for free. What is odd is that I have to sign up for 24 months, but it is costing less than buying the TV from John Lewis!
