I'm an oldbie MH number 10
going on a Christmas & New years eve adventure.

Planning on stopping at Brugge aire on Christmas eve and Chrsitmas day.

but, knowing it's busy most of the time, quick question.

when not getting on, has anyone managed to use the coach park? and what did you get charged?

thanks.

Lots on the coach park in September, you have to take your 50euro bus entry ticket to the office to get it changed (so I heard). The office is near the exit.

thanks, just what I was looking for.

We pulled up on a Saturday morning around 11-30 few weeks ago and got the second to last spot😳😳
Coach park was full with coaches so doubt very much if it will be any different this side of the new year.
Sunday morning it thinned out a bit so we moved to the larger pitch up the end, by Monday it was about half full.

I'm hoping many won't want to spend Jesus's birthday on an Aire, but you never know I suppose.

Years ago before the internet, we never had to worry about these things.

Just a thought, it's unlikely the office will be manned those days. You might have to pay the 50euros a day if you do go into the bus park, although to be honest I can't see the Aire being full on Christmas day 🤷

Is the Bruge aire 50 euro a day/night now ? If so it's gone up a lot 😲
Surely that can't be right, a campsite would be considerably less

No.. if you can't get in, you can use the coach park but then it's 50e a night to get out.

Won't be long before it's 50e a night.

Blimey, there must be better options for Bruges

We use the aire at Beernam and cycle in or get a cab. There is room to wild camp further along the road if its full

Well we're on!!!

Set up, nice walk around brugge.

Managed to get on a big pitch but can't belive how busy it is!!!

We're not the only ones who are crazy 😜 🤪

When there earlier this year we entered the Aire which was full and then drove through onto the coach park so still only paid for the Aire - there is a big gap through which hopefully is still open

What ceejayt said, as long as the machine lets you into the Aire and gives you a ticket, then to pay the MH tariff when you leave, regardless of where you park.

If the Aire was full then the barrier should not have let you in. I watched several vans queuing until someone left, then the barrier would let a van in.

Nice old N+B clou to feast your eyes there Paul (y), have a great Christmas and New Year.

I'm loving your Christmas card to Nikki !
