There was a thread on here recently with a fault on a Waeco, think it was due to low voltage ? Have you tried it on a mains hook up, are there any indicator lights flashing on it ?

I wrote the reply for a similar Waeco fridge problem a couple of days ago.
The normal supply for this fridge is 4amp with a compressor starting load of approx 25 amps.
You will need a substantial cable for this application. I have installed my 2016 110lt unit with a 16mm2 cable.
A bit over the top I know!! 8mm2 should be ok dependant on the distance between battery and fridge
Waeco also do a 220vac to 12v supply unit that will auto sense the available supply. Handy for when you are on hook up and saves hammering the leisure battery charger.
