Just got back from one of the worst sites ever .But on a plus side because the site that boasts a bar on site ,it had no beer .
Luckily one of our friends took us to a place called Thornbridge Brewery .Any body in the area do yourself a favour and find it .The place is a brewery with a Tap room on the front .More beer than you can shake a stick at .Pizza bar aswell ,shop for take aways .One word Brilliant .

Which is the site to avoid !

We've been there too ( the brewery not the campsite) the Jaipur is one of my favourite beers. If anyone is visiting Whitby check out our brewery too they have some really good music nights.

Greenhills caravan park .(Dirty Stalag )
Why to avoid ? On line reviews are positively glowing . Only asking because Chatsworth is usually full . Cheers .

Dirty site unpleasant staff (very rude) expensive for poor site .The amount of people moaning was the cherry on the cake .
Avoid trust me

I've had the pleasure of overnighting outside the brewery in my lorry a few times

There's a nice brewery set up in Kirkby Lonsdale that does decent craft beers https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attra..._Brewery-Kirkby_Lonsdale_Cumbria_England.html . They sometimes have live music on too. You can stay at the campsite at KLRFC (has a decent bar on match days) and the C&CC hold a few THS's there throughout the year. There's plenty of choice for pubs and meals in the village and most are dog friendly. They've got a brilliant army surplus shop in the town too !

The Triple F brewery in Four Marks ought to be of interest to people on this thread. I would thoroughly recommend the Moondance beer.

https://www.triplefff.com/bottle-shop I dont know if you can stop over night outside (I doubt it) but there is plenty of wild parking nearby and no hope of being moved on by any authorities.

Located between Alton and Alresford it is very very close to the Watercress line and they have the Xmas steam train running again this year

You would also be in striking distance of the The Famous Pub with no Name and their MIcrobrewery with overnighting availability https://www.whitehorsepetersfield.co.uk/ and The Bush at Ovington https://www.thebushinn.net/ which is a pub stopover with history including some famous scene from some famous film. (something to do with a bridge)
Found this photo but cant remember the name of the film. I m sure someone knows who they are and what film
