hello peeps!
like it says.....I need to go for battery charge and water, but lights are out!
what do I need to check to see if I can fix...garages all full of customers...
connections underneath MH body look ok, so fuse or switch at brake pedal?
anything else I need to look at?
took cover off one light and all bulbs are happy there...

Bulbs connections, fuses, connections under van?

Normally the lights are on two separate circuits so if a fuse blows only one side stops working. I would start with the switch at the pedal.

Brake lights are on one fuse, what year is your bessacarr? Check the fuse first. If you have a towbar and use a trailer board or additional rear lights via the towing socket that could cause the fuse to blow depending on the year of the vehicle.

The other suspect is a bad earth at the rear lights

It's easy to check a switch. Pull the two wires off, and touch them together - the brake lights should go on, and they'll go off if the wires are not touching.
