Hi all
I've got a Vechline Vision Mini Evo reversing camera that's gone all foggy, tried wiping camera lens with a soft cloth and gone through display settings but to no avail. Anyone had a simular problem or got any ideas?

Look carefully at the lense... it may be a little condensation/moistire on the inside.. can quite often clear if the camera is run for a while and allowed to warm..

If all else fails you can usually adjust the camera focus by turning the lens inside.

If its got damp inside it needs drying out. Remove camera and put somewhere warm to dry out. Sounds like it has a leak in the seal if its getting damp inside. Having had one of this type of camera to bits all they are is a lens in a plastic housing which clips over a chip with a window in it. You can get damp on the chip itself and on the lens both inside and outside. They are all the same inside and must only cost a couple of pounds to produce. Take it to bits and dry it all out then reseal and reassemble.

When you do get it "moisture free" consider putting a Small bag of dry Silica Gel inside?. I had to do it with an Outdoor CCTV camera on one occasion.

Rear view motorhome cameras are well known to suffer badly on wet humid mornings due to the small size of the camera lens but the problem normally goes away as the temperature rises. We had our rear view camera replaced last year under warranty due to water ingress and can see clearly now.

Hopefully it will clear then but I have told the dealer and it was only fitted 5 months ago so should still be under warranty

Good to read you have informed your dealer of the problem, the ball is now back in their court to prove to you that its not letting in water. We had the same problem with our van from new and when it was returned back to the factory for other problems including the fogging of the rear view camera they instantly replaced it and no longer have the problem. Good luck.

Thanks I'll need good luck with the motorhome dealer if my past experiences are anything to go buy they haven't even replied to an email I sent 3 days ago yet!

Have you cleaned your specs(y)
