Hi, I bought a Bip & Go just before lockdown so haven't used it yet. I hope to start next week but am a bit confused as to where to position it.
On the Boxer there is a solid black bit on the windscreen behind the mirror which is where the instructions seem to say to site it.
Doesn't seem right. Can anyone tell me ( politely) where to put it?

Anywhere in the centre /top section of the windscreen, visible to the sensor above will suffice

Beware if the body work of the motorhome over hangs the windscreen , this can block the signal to the sensor . We have ours near the bottom of the screen and works 99% of the time 👍

On our PVC, our tag works fine at the top just sticking out from the “black bit”

So not behind the black bit then?

Thanks for this, I was just about to ask the same question!

We approached the Peage with more than a little trepidation. Then we saw it the lane, over on the left! Drove slowly through, expecting alarm bells to ring and entry denial. The barrier rose without fuss, It was like the parting of the Red Sea, and sighs of relief all round...
Now in Royan, and loving it!

Hey John, very similar. Doing it solo so passenger window down and seat belt off ready to dash across when to my great surprise it actually worked!
Well worth the added expense.

I’ve had ours since last year not used it yet but I’m presuming as it’s a pay as you go and all the info I’ve read says if you don’t use it there is no cost, baffled why you’ve been billed.

There is a clause saying if it not used in 12 month period they can make a charge.

Different types of account have different methods of recovering an admin charge, but as you say it's nominal anyway.
