Bicycle warning board for France?

...................do I need one? I have done a search and see that I need one for Spain and Italy but can't confirm the French rules!

Er, because I haven't got one? If in doubt I put the warning triangle in the plastic pocket.

They only cost around £6.

The Fiamma ones have no weight in them at all, not very strong either so am going to attach to a thin alloy sheet with numberplate screws.
When that's buggered will paint the allow sheet in the two patterns.

Weight? My plastic board only weighs a few grams and for the sake of a few squid may well stop someone pushing my bike racks/ bikes through the back of my van .
