A Railway Bridge on a side road heading into a small town of Needam Market just off A14 that road starts at the A14/A140 junction , this Railway Bridge is 7 feet 6 inches high and has been hit 19 times in last 12 months by strangers who have missed Large warning signs and the road is such you cannot turn around!!?

Next to a nice picnic spot while you wait for breakdown. ::bigsmile:

This is another good one to catch the unwary (read that as ‘silly’) when the level crossing is closed and they’re ‘in a hurry’ - it’s by Stonea level crossing near March, Cambridgeshire.……

You're right near a lake, and a really nice cafe opened just recently , loads of nice walks from there if the motorhome is a right off which it would be, but , if you hit it hard enough you wouldn't be walking you be beheaded

You can follow the road that is signposted low bridge BUT turn off to your right at the reservoir, lots of parking and a great little location. Shame they close the gates at night time, I wonder why ...?

It's recently been lowered by 6 inches with massive steel beams providing extra protection. Trouble is that vans that could get through before now can't hence the increase in hits.

We must have a different imperial system in Scotland as our 6' 6" equates to only 1.9m.:giggler:

Yes, read before you ride and drive, it's easy not to notice changed signs , I have been down one-way streets that were 2 way a week before !!
