Should be picking up our first motorhome in a few weeks (Rapido 999M). We’ve held off from buying anything for it up to this point, mostly sticking to YouTube and other guides. There’s so much we don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll get there.

We now want to start getting some kit together - hookup cable, levellers (did I need these?), hoses, some method to fill and empty water, chemicals (I’ve read 100 articles and the toilet still confuses me! -blue, green, pink, Aldi tabs???).

After doing a little online searching, I now find there’s lots of options out there, but I have nothing to compare prices against. Is my local accessory shop good value (N. lincs area), are the cables I see on Amazon cheap rubbish or good value?

Where do you buy your kit from? Any good recommendations for online stores, or physical stores in the Lincs/Yorkshire area?

I would check what it comes with first. Should be supplied with a hookup cable as a basic. Then use it to see what you need rather than buy first. Amazon is as good a place as any to buy from. Go for green or bio tabs for the cassette. If the black waste is to a septic tank blue won’t do it any good.

They may do a purchase package of essentials, depending on what it comes with. Best to buy when you have it, that way you don't buy stuff you dont need, or won't fit into the van, cupboards, garage etc size and weight matters in a van. Personally don't use on line at all, might be cheaper, but I want to see and feel before I buy. Just my thoughts.
