enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Thinking of changing moho and getting a Benimar Mileo 294 2017 model. Has anyone got any advice, information - good or bad about the build quality, reliability or just general chit chat? i think the payload is a bit too low but then again i dont know what the manufacturer has included in the standard vehicle weight, ie 100l of fresh, 50l of black water, 2x batteries, passenger etc - i will read through the handbook to see what i can find when i view.

it does have the drop down bed and island bed, full fridge, cooker, decent shower that we are looking for

Thanks

We have the 264. Payload on ours isn't great but we uprated it to 3650 for free. We had a damp leak but all in all the quality is fine. I believe all mileos come with 150w solar panel fitted as standard and rear steady legs which are 30kg plus i think..Cant quite remember but theres a thread on it. Van pulls very well.

We have the mileo 294 ,it’s a 2016 model and had it from new . The shower tray cracked and was replaced under warranty eventually ! .we have replaced a leaking tap and repaired a broken cupboard support . So all in all bearing in mind that we spend at least 4 months away a year in it we are made up with it ,planned to keep it for three years and swop it but can’t find any thing better for the money so are more than happy to keep it. Yes the payload is poor at 3500 kg but we have now up plated it to 3850 kg so now is adequate . I would and do recommend the 294 to anyone 👍

Yes a bit air assist on the rear and bigger tires and wheels 16”which I had done previously because I just thought the standard 15 “ wheels looked to small. I can’t remember the price but the wheels and tyres where about A £1000 ,Sv tech about 600 to do the paper weight and the air assist was about £700 , you could do all this yourself and save a lot of money.

We have 282 and the layout is great.Like most builds you will have minor issues. We bought ours second hand and have inherited some issues that will get sorted. We are on our 2nd trip so for now looks good.
