Be careful cleaning your vans roof !

What a pilloc ...for a start the ladder is too short it should be at least 6 inches above the roof . He's lucky he didn't smack his head on those slabs

Ouchie.. Bet he has learned a few lessons there.

I normally make it a point not to comment on someone's appearance. But in this case I have to ask, what is she doing with her eyebrows? :Eeek:

It’s easy to forget health and safety at times, cut corners, I’ve done it myself, for quickness. Accidents happen when you least expect them.

Hope he recovers well.

So something classed as an emergency and still takes 30 minutes to get there.
Great.

It appears to be a telescopic ladder which has to be quite upright. problem is he is too overweight to use one as they are 75kgs max or <
Nah ..i have a telescopic ladder . Mine says 130kg max . But it needs to be taller than the van which his wasn't . Hes lucky he didnt put 2 big dents in the side

Mine has the extending bits at the side to help prevent that happening. But as with all ladders, do check to see it's stable before you go more than 1 or 2 steps up it.

Better still one of those with a ladder at each end and a platform between. If I ever cleaned my roof thats what Id use.

I've come close to do that a couple of times. It's slips a lot more when leaning against the awning. I need to get something else.

Some years ago my elderly uncle fell off a ladder while clearing his gutters (on a council house, so not even his responsibility) hit his head on the concrete paving and killed himself.

Yes, you're right. I have just been and checked mine and have 150kgs but got confused as it is 75,5° minimum upright or 25% of height max from base of wall.

Didn't get that one sorry. I think I am getting dense as I am missing the point more and more recently. I think it can only be because I have given up smoking :/
