Hi
We bought a 1999 Auto Roller yesterday but we cannot find the isolator switch. We can't seem to use the plug in electrics or battery at the moment and nothing seems to be working. We have checked the fuses and they seem to be fine.
Also does the waste from the sink go to the toilet cassette?

When you collected the van did you get a demonstration of everything working? In all honesty I would go back to whoever you bought it from and ask them to show you how everything works.

However if that, for any reason, is not possible:-

Need a bit more info before we can offer ideas. First off, is anything working, lights, TV, heating, fridge? Have you checked the leisure battery, i.e. is there one fitted and is it fully charged? Are you hooked up to an external power source? The leisure battery supplies all the electrical power to your van unless it is connected (hooked up) to a 240v power source, when the in-built charger should supply the 12v needed. Any 3-pin sockets will (normally) only work when you are hooked up. Note - don't have the engine running as this usually disables most of the 12v domestics.

Have you found the mains supply fusebox - looks like a domestic RCD fusebox with a test button and on/off switch (usually hidden inside a locker or at the bottom of the wardrobe). Is it switched on - usually a red light showing. Not familiar with your van but the principles are the same for all; isolator switches are not common fitments unless fitted after-market.

In passing, what's the situation with your gas-powered devices e.g. fridge, heating, cooker? Just trying to get an overall picture.
