My motor has worked really well by solar charging both batteries. However, yesterdsy because weather been poor. Batteries very low. Charged overnight and both read 3/4 full. But ..... today been glorious and both batteries on solar have reduced to half? Advice please
Regards
Sue

You can tell if a battery is being charged by looking at the voltage. Have a read of this recent thread for some more details.

A cheap multimeter is extremely useful for investigating this problem. You can tell if the solar panels are charging the batteries by measuring the battery voltage when it's dark, and then when it's sunny. If it rises to the charging voltage when the sun shines, you know the solar is working.
