Once the tap head is off, you unscrew the big nut below and replace the ceramic insert.

Before you strip it down, have you removed the strainer from the end of the spout to check it is not blocked?

When you feel better, the strainer usually unscrews from the spout. unless you have a long flexible neck it is done by touch, as you can feel it in the end of the spout. I must admit that once or twice I had them refuse to unscrew due to limescale, so killed the strainer with a screwdriver and levered it out. The strainer tames the outlet flow a bit but otherwise is pointless as there is a strainer at the pump

i think you are on the money with the strainer as cold or hot or both at the same time makes no difference thanks

Just take it easy, deal with it when your feeling better,,you’ll make a better job of it👍

Looks like a Reich tap, the strainer is a push fit.
The main barrel of the tap will be held in place with a very small torx grub screw. Not worth trying to sort it in situ easier to take the tap out to work on it.

Is it a micro switch system. Can you hear the pump start when operate the tap.
