How is it best to restore a motorhome bathroom sink to get it back to as white as possible.

Tricky one. I've not managed to find anything that's managed. I've got natural discolouration and stains from aerosol sun cream that I'm trying to get rid of.
I'm sure I've read that a vinegar mix is the best thing to try.
