Hi.Does anyone know where I can get a new plastic oval basin for our Rapido 742F motorhome.

It's some time ago now but I had mine refurbished. Still looking good. Lodge farm Leisure think was the name.Near lowdams gunthorpe.They have a website.

Try GRPLeisure Derek there made a new basin for our Autotrail as the original one was a sort of stone effect and was hideous. He made us a lovely plain white one which looks great. Find him at www.grpleisure.co.uk

Another vote for Derek he made one for us a good few years ago now far better than the original.

Mine was £110 including delivery,it was a two part one as it has a upper and lower part plus a draining board type bit. A simple bowl would probably be a lot cheaper.

Tam Northernraider just had one from Derek the quality was awful.

The one I received from Derek at grp leisure wasn't great unfortunately.... the finish was terrible but the worst problem was the drain hole looked like it had been cut by a 3 year old ...it wasnt round and was too big.
Fortunately I negotiated a better price with him and as im quite handy I repaired it myself...

It may have been a one off experience as he does get good reviews but can only advise on my dealings.

Pleasant guy to deal with , responds quick to messages etc , prices reasonable compared to the outrageous cost of originals. But the item received wasn't up to scratch.

Heres a few pic of what I received

He wanted £160 for that ^^^







I paid £70 and then fibreglassed the plug hole ,recut it , sanded down the sink to remove the imperfections and primed and painted it ........turned out a lot better but work I didn't expect to need to do.
