If you scroll down the information you will get;

We’ve highlighted the car parks in Northumberland that can accommodate large vehicles in the locations and charges section above.

It’s important vehicles only park in bays of an appropriate size. If you’re using our off-street pay and display car parks, it’s fine to take up more than one bay providing you pay for all of the bays you are using.

We are currently looking to improve parking facilities within a number of car parks to allow for dedicated motor home parking bays.

The car parks in are also suitable for parking large vehicles and motor homes.

Please note: cooking, camping and sleeping are not allowed in any of our car parks.

There is a campsite not far ; we have been there a few years ago but not sure how much it is.

This was the one I was thinking of

Links Road Free Car Park Long Stay
Northumberland Council (and its predecessors) have never allowed camping in their car parks. Neither has Bamburgh Castle itself. The castle owners have even had to consider banning motorhomes completely because of abuse in the past.
If you search round Bamburgh in the Out & About section of the C&CC web site there are a number of rallies/THSs in the area which normally don't need booking.

We were there last weekend. No parking charges so no need for councils to check / police overnight stops. Yet.
There were flyers on lampposts saying that parking charges are to be introduced. This is the time that the council will start making visits...

Decent size MH parking spaces.

We overnighted in Beadnell just down the road. Walked in to Seahouses. Very pleasant

Is it still possible to overnight in the free car park across the road?
No and I think its always been that way but sum folk's take the piss and the last I heard thay were going to ban motorhomes completely from using ther car parks

We are at Seafield caravan site, a few miles down the road, it’s pissing down, so I’d go to Spain :D
