Historically yes.. But in modern vernacular no
And what goes on the V5 depends on what options are available to the DVLA ( believe it or not ! )
For instance, one of the colours the early Honda blackbird was sold in was Titanium.
According to the V5 docs of those bikes the colour is grey .. It is blatantly NOT grey though.. not by any stretch of the imagination ! LOL !!
