Has any one fitted a Dometic 2200 or similar roof air conditioning unit to this model?
The unit weighs about 22kg
I wonder if the roof would support this weight although I have walked on it
Any experiences would be most welcome

Hi Jenka, Where abouts on your roof did you have it fitted? Did you lose one of your roof vents for it?
That's where they normally go . Straight drop in fit usually.

Hi Paul,
Yes the small roof vent by the kitchen, we don't miss it to be honest and the AC is my best buy as been in Europe since last May and a god send.

Interesting. Is yours mounted inline with the van or across the van? I've got an Oyster 80cm dish mounted just back from kitchen vent. Wonder if it would scupper any attempt to install an A/C unit.

Ahh.. I think that would foul on the dish. I'd quite happily give up the larger vent in the bedroom, but t'would seem no one makes them to replace a larger vent.
