Hi will be staying the four nights at the Lincoln Show. I am hoping a local dealer or one trading at he show would read this and offer to fit a B2B or similar at the show. Or any members living in that area would know some one who may be able to help?

its an easy thing to wire, very easy, using suitable cables

cab battery + to charger + input
cab battery - to charger - input

charger + output to leisure battery + (battery 1 if you have dual batteries connected in parallel)
charger - output to leisure battery- (battery 2 if you have dual batteries connected in parallel)

Which charger are you thinking of installing btw?

Al n Al. Hoping for some suggestions I have two lithium batteries.

I thought you had a new van, if it has a smart alternator it should already have a B2B.

Victron gear is expensive but excellent quality imo and gets great feedback

It’s where my money would go tbh 👍

It was nice to meet up with a fellow funster DerryW see you at Lincoln.

As you will understand i know very little electrics, i will make contact with my dealer tomorrow, it makes me wonder if they know there products?

Hello Colyboy. We’re just arrived back at the same place, few more MH’s here than there were yesterday.
See you at Lincoln.

Most UK dealers appear to be clueless about what they are selling.

I take it the Lithium was fitted by a dealer, if your van didn't have a B2B they should have fitted one.

The engine battery saga is I hope is coming a conclusion!
Carthago have informed the dealer that the radio will draw 0.5amps/hrs whilst not been used and 1.5 amps/hrs while in use. It has now been decided to wire the radio to the two leisure batteries.
The radio itself also controls the TV, reversing camera and sat nav.
