Dethleffs fit these ex factory.

I haven't yet found a suplier in the UK and in Germany they are €450 for a 100w panel plus shipping.

They are 72 cell and most I see on line are 36 cell - can they/should they be mixed?

Is that just for the supply? If so it is a ridiculous price for a 100W panel. Suggest you look elsewhere.
I agree the price is high, but can 72 cell panels be mixed - that was my question.

Hi...its the output voltage and current of each panel that would be the important factor..
Normally series wired panels would all have to be similar current capacity...as the max current will be limited to the smallest current of a panel..
Similarly with parallel connection ..the panel with the smallest voltage would limit the array voltage...
In other words if the panels arnt matched you won't get optimum output..
I would check the specs but I doubt the 36 and 72 cell panels will have compatible outputs..

The panels have a voltage of 21.6V in standard test conditions. That is a fairly standard voltage, similar to 36-cell panels of other manufacturers. So they could be mixed in parallel with panels of similar voltage. I think the 72-cell thing is wiring two lots of 36 cells in parallel within a single panel. Some of these Buttner panels are longer and thinner than standard panels, which may fit the roof of some MHs better. They are expensive, but have been designed and tested to withstand high wind speeds and shock/vibration from vehicle roof mounting.
