What is the benefit of the fittings that go on the side of your van for the awning feet so your awning legs are not on the ground.
Just wondering.

The big advantage to us is that the dogs tethers can't get tangled round the legs. It is also more rigid due to effectively having a triangular form rather than the parrellogram form..
Unfortunately it's not always feasible to fit the brackets as access is needed to the inside of the van wall.

I found the awning was more stable in a breeze and you can’t peg the feet down on tarmac….
