Yes. If you want to put it out. Non awning pitches are usually quite narrow but you still may be able to use a roll out on some sites.

normally if you only put it out while sitting under it and put it away it is not classed as an awning. but there is no hard and fast rule, it will depend on the campsite.

Depends on what your question relates to

You are unlikely to be charged extra on a site for a wind out canopy 👍

But beware C&MC sites, some have tiny non awning pitches that you would struggle to wind an awning out over, we always book a pitch with awning, the price is the same even with no intention of using it, made that mistake once never again 🤔👍

camc policy is ( may have changed )
Wind out Fiamma style awning is ok to be used on a non awning pitch but no side blockers and obviously no safari rooms .
