Don’t put it out when windy. They cause an awful lot of damage if the wind gets under it. They blow over the roof which not only completely smashes the awning but also breaks roof lights tv aerial and damages the roof itself. I always use a tie down kit and never leave it out if leaving the van. Also wind it in overnight no matter what the weather forecast says.
