Hi
My Omnistor awning is not rolling all the way back in at one end.
I have read the various threads on how to solve this and have spent a few hours sticking tape on the awning to try and resolve it but to no avail.
The problem I see is that as one end is open slightly then the top is also open and rainwater is getting in to the casing where the awning s nicely rolled up, hopefully dry, but now getting wet every time it rains.

Anyone any ideas please?

Iain

There are a few Youtube videos showing some solutions.
Firstly though check for any debris which might be obstructing it. Even a leaf can make a difference!
Then try pulling on the side that is tighter as you wind it in.

Check the distances of the extending arms are equal both sides at the top and bottom.
The slightest variation can cause big differences when wound in.
Chech that the arms have not moved even the slightes, look for marks around the am fixings that would indicate that they may have moved.
Also if you have a central roller at the fixed end of the awning make sure it is central.

PS. As you wind in and the arms hinge you can see if they are retracting equally.
As others have said if all that is fine check for an obstruction
