Our DR187 has no power. The glass fuse in the cable seems to have perished and we're having trouble finding a replacement here in the wilds of Scotland, not least, since it has a wire spring welded to it. I've asked Avtex for some advice without response.

Any advice from experienced motorhomers would be appreciated!

The spring may be welded to it but I'm sure it wasn't originally.
Never seen a glass fuse, or any other type, with a spring attached.....it's usually part of the fuse holder.
It maybe blew with such a high load (dead short) it happened then.

I think it will be a slow blow glass fuse. Look on eBay Amazon or maplin The rating will be etched on the side of the silver bit. Like t1.2. 1.2 amp fuse etc etc
