I've got my beast stuck in the mud 3 times now. Its still got the commercial road tyres on, they are pants.

I'm trying to find some All Terrain tyres for it, the rim is 17.5".... seems to be slim pickings.

Any ideas?

Would it be easier to change to 17" rim with same stud spacing and hub and open up more tyre choices?

Anyone with experience in this matter?

Are you lost? Or just starting again? ?

I would search the cost and suitably of tyres then decide if it is practical to change.

truck tyres in 17.5 and above don't use terms all terrain etc . You need to be looking at "drive" or off road , construction etc . With 17.5 you are going to be a bit limited with choice as the chassis that use this size are not used in off road , or heavy construction work .
This is a drive type tyre , probably closest to AT ,<Broken link removed>
this is "construction" type <Broken link removed>
