We have a hole, approx an inch and a half long on our habitation window flyscreen. The mesh is fine and either black or dark grey in colour.
Is it feasible to obtain the mesh to do the job without replacing the whole unit?
Would be grateful for any info from others who have had a similar issue and how they solved it please!

We have an autotrail too and actually need to replace several of the blind cassettes completely - has anyone anyone any suggestions?

We got spaghetti sauce all over the pleated bit, which wasn’t a problem when the blind wasn’t open, but drove me mad when it was. It proved impossible to find the mesh and pleat separately. I ended up just replacing it, which was an easy job, even for me. The blinds are Horrex Duoplis.

I can’t really remember, but what I do know is the supplier was much cheaper than elsewhere. All I can find is a PayPal receipt, so I must have bought from eBay. The supplier contact on the receipt is gary.smith@saleseagle.co.uk. Perhaps you could email to see if he is still in business. Otherwise there seems to be a few suppliers on the internet. Good luck.

One of our dogs ran straight through ours one evening! We sourced a new one on EBay but I thought I would try sewing the hole. We took the whole thing out and laid it on the kitchen table. I was able to effect a neat repair and after carefully folding it back and leaving for a couple of weeks it is hardly noticeable.
