Never leave a campsite with your clothes line tied to a lamp post.
We have a 2007 Auto Sleeper Nuevo and the habitation door has developed a locking problem. It has two locking mechanisms on the door and the upper one has become disconnected from the operating lever internally. This should not be a problem to fix but what will be a problem is that when I prise out the plastic clips that hold the door cover panel on they will break and also the cover panel will probably crack. The clips are of a sort commonly used to hold door panels on in the motor trade (the clip has a central hole into which a peg is pushed home to expand it once in place) I have no idea of the make or model. Any bright ideas would be welcome,

Hi

If as you say the fixings are the type with a centre pin, they are easy to remove.

Find a thin tool and simply push the pins further into the fixings, this will release their hold and the panel will be easy to remove.

You should find all the pins inside the now open door shell, if you cannot locate them all you could either buy replacements of find similar plastic rod and cut into short lengths.

When you replace the panel simply push the clips into the holes and secure by pushing in the rods.
