Off to vanbitz but my regular late stop for gas at Halton hill Exeter has run out, anyone know if there’s any around Taunton?

There is a big Sainsburys station close to the M5 junction, I know they have a lpg pump, but whether they have any? May be worth giving them a call.

Hi Martin Texaco garage at thornfalcon has LPG on the app it's showing none available but I called in a couple of days ago and the have some
Thornfalcon is on the A358 towards ilminster garage is at the top of the duel carageway
Somerset motorhome center are in the same location

Filllpg is showing Texaco Thornfalcon Garage A378 TA3 5NN as having lpg updated 02/04/2022. MyLPG.eu is still showing it as out but as usual hasn’t been updated recently, 11/03/2022.

Filllpg Map is slow to load but is usually up to date unlike the quicker MyLPG app which has let me down too often to be trusted.

Thanks for looking Pausim, Had a detour there on way, I’ve spotted the red you put up. But they’ve not had any for weeks so I’m unsure how to change the ref.
Spoke to a couple of local garages around Taunton (Morrisons & the one you mentioned) and also the one on Haldon hill, Exeter, they’ve apparently not had any for yonks, so if your heading this way from somewhere there’s supplies, get it while & where you can.
If your staying on site, have solar, or a good inverter/battery bank, may I recommend you get a induction hob (see Emmit thread), should you not already have one.

If you have a gaslow bottle that you can remove from your van, Andys Gas at Cribbs causeway will refill it for you overnight. They do not offer at the pump service at the moment. They donot open until midday so go there to early.

This state of affairs is quite worrying. I last filled up at Sainsbury's, Taunton, and should be ok for awhile. Is this as a result of a national shortage due to Russia and Covid? Must be, I guess. So it will continue. I do still have a full 5kg Calor, which I was just going to put on our Classified, but I will hang on to it. Can you connect this to the van filling point in some way, or add an external BBQ type connection? I've not thought this through.
