Has anybody any recommendation for sites in Arnside i see Newbarns Caravan park is the nearest but cant find any reviews for it

You could look at Holgates which is walking distance to Arnside. However it is expensive but has a good cafe/restaurant and a lovely indoor pool.

We have some friends who have a static on newbarns, pitch been in family for 40 years, obviously loveit,visited but not stayed, interesting drive to it, not for the feint hearted . Kevin

Just looked on Google maps i see what you mean and it not just for a short stretch

Just reminded me of school holidays when I used to go to Arnside and stay with my uncle, who was then the village Bobby, as my parents both worked.

Very happy times.

We were at a THS near Arneside last summer. Got talking to a guy with a self build who parks at the bottom end of the promenade for the odd night or two.
