Armacao de Pera

Does anyone know if the aire on the football ground carpark at the rear of the fisherman’s hut’s at Armação de Pêra is open? If so do the local police still come around occasionally and issue tickets/fines or has that all stopped?

We were there yesterday - 20+ vans parked up late afternoon. Whether they got moved on or not I don’t know as we didn’t stay overnight.

Got some friends going next week I believe that there are some road works by the old football pitch back of huts that makes it difficult to get in.
Will know more later will keep others informed
