Recently bought an adria twin panel van conversion was thinking of having air-conditioning but decided against it .... is the cable pre-installed for the power if not is it a big job to get power to the rooflight without destroying the headlining?
Is it a possible diy install ?
Does it void manufacturer warranty ?

it is possible there is a cable there? Why not ask Adria? If there isn't you are going to need a fused live + neutral to be got there somehow.
If the existing vent is 40cm x 40 cm it is a straight drop in replacement. DIY, yes if you are useful in that way.

If there isn't a pre-installed cable or cableway it is very easy to push a probe through the foam insulation to the nearest locker once the rooflight is out (or the hole for the fan / airconn is cut). There is no need to disturb or damage the ceiling.

Biggest problem with retro fit on a panel Van is the ridges on the roof. The AC seal needs a flat area to compress

On my Adria all though different model to yours, was a cable duct and power leads across to the 400X400 sk where AC would have been fitted. It was a very nice find on my Maxxfan install.

When I arranged to have a local fitter replace my hab aircon with a Maxxair Maxxfan he reckoned there probably was a 12v supply already there (Swift Bolero low-profile, not a PVC). Will find out next week.
