Does anyone go to Appleby Horse fair in June can you recommend a good campsite nearby.

Never been during the fair but can recommend a CL not far from town.

Saw it on TV this week. I don't think they bother with the 6m rule or many other rules

I would avoid it unless you like seeing animal cruelty at its best.

Lets hope it doesn't get trashed by 'travellers' like the last Wickham Horse Fair I attended which has been going since 1296.
