Read all sorts about the stuff but wonder if anyone here has used / uses it.
Good, bad, indifferent?

It’s a fuel additive.
Never have used it. Never will use it. Waste of money. If you buy good quality fuel you dont need it.

I have always used Archoil as recommended by the previous owner, the van passes the MOT emissions, what else do you need? It's a 3.0l Ducato so not environmentally friendly.

Is that for occasional use or a bit at every fill up?
Have you noticed any difference?
I only use it for a couple of tank fulls before the MOT. So l guess, Occasional use. I doubt it would make any improvement to the economy of a 3.0l diesel! Sorry for not being very helpful.

Actually it's the ar6400-d max I was recommended

I use Dipetane in my cars. Noticeable difference in both cars, much smoother/quieter. Don’t expect a difference on first dose needs a few miles under its belt. Not checked mpg or used it in the motorhome yet.

I’m thinking of getting some to Chuck in the oil tank when it next gets filled, it’s a new boiler and it smells a bit.

Anybody know the cheapest/best supplier?

They make big claims about it, 25% reduction in CO2
I think it's meant to be CO (carbon monoxide), a poisonous gas. Rather than CO2 (carbon dioxide), a normal part of the air we breathe, which is a greenhouse gas. A 25% reduction in CO2 would be a game-changing breakthrough.

The sales guy clearly says it reduces CO2 by 25% in the Youtube video, but he's made a mistake, it should be CO.

Nope, that's from their website. (y)
Not a new product either, as they claim it's been on the market for 30 years.

It's either a mistake or deliberately misleading. They say that dipetane 'enables a more complete burn of the carbon'. CO is produced by incomplete burning of fuel. More complete burning will turn CO into CO2. That is a benefit, because CO is poisonous, but CO2 is harmless, except that it is a greenhouse gas. CO emissions will decrease, but CO2 emissions will increase by the same amount.

I was just about to order some, if it cured all three......only to find out it’s a fuel additive 🤭🙃🤪😂
It'll probably make your farts smell better though! :giggle:

From their website, see Two on Tour's post:
"Helps to pass new MOT, DOE, NCT lower smoke, CO2 and NOx emission regulations"
There are no MOT regulations for CO2, it's only for CO.

CO2 emissions is important for calculating the tax band, but that depends on the vehicle and engine, and is determined for the particular make and model. It isn't measured as part of the MOT.

So as I said, either an honest mistake or deliberately misleading. You decide.

I don't need to decided, I made my mind up when I saw this wonderous (I use the term very loosely) product some time ago.
I think you mistakenly have me down as a believer of their old guff. :giggle:

Back in my misspent youth, hahum, I used to race MX bikes. There was this absolutely game changer product that came onto the market which you plugged your HT lead into, and it had another HT lead that came out and went to your spark plug. Anybody who was anybody, [ not me] had one fitted, and swore they made a marked improvement. Eventually, someone had one X rayed, just to see how it was made up. Turned out the HT wire went straight through and there were some random screws and bolts set in the resin block to make the weight up!! :giggle: Some genuinely independent verified figures would be needed before me and my folding parted company.

I remember the "Spitfire Multi-Spark", wouldn't happen to be that one would it.
There was always a guy demonstrating and flogging them at every autojumble I went to.
