Anyone in Stranraer for the oyster festival this weekend?

With all the sewerage being pumped In to the sea no thanks and I adore shell fish but won’t be having any until this country cleans up it’s beaches and rivers.

We were at the festival last night. We stayed in the Argen carpark and will be leaving shortly. Was a good night, Elvis was good fun. We're doing the SW300 and by chance stumbled across the festival when we got here as not heard of it. For a fiver it was a bargain.

Must admit I had chicken paella instead

We went for Seafood paella and fish and chips. Delish! She also had to try an oyster.. Not for me thanks.

We thought the stuff for sale in the craft tent was a lot better quality than some of the tatt we see at others. And a free firework display then music till late. Thought it was a good evening out and glad we happened across it. If we hadn't found that free carpark on the searchforsites app we'd of driven the other way and missed it all.
