Good Afternoon. As part of the general tinkering over the past few weeks , I have installed a new twin camera connected to the Pioneer head unit, and used the old single camera as a service camera. Lenny on here posted a way of doing it using relays but too advanced for me. So I used a spare video splitter switch so that I can switch from the dashboard to either the Rev lens of the twin camera or the Service cam aimed at the grey drain pipe. Works well. While I am about it I’ve bought a cheap rev sensor kit from Amazon and plan to fit that with an override switch so that I can switch it off when using the Towbar bikerack. Which has set me wondering if as well it is possible to fit Rev sensors to the bike rack. Anyone done it , as it would be a useful aid when the bike rack is in use? I know there is a wireless system called Fensens which send a Bluetooth signal from 2 number plate sensors ( could be on bike rack) to phone. But the reviews aren’t brilliant for use with an iPhone. It appeals though coz wireless and doesn’t need another monitor. Any ideas ?

We fitted an extra reversing camera onto our tow bar mounted bike rack
Works a treat

Robert, funnily enough what got me thinking about the issue was your for sale ad, where you mention your bike rack having a camera. So what camera and how is it wired and connected to the van ? Do you use the sort of trailer socket that say vanbitz use for the bike loop on their Growler- which I have. What I don’t want is too many screens. Adrian
