Anyone fitted an external gas point

Its a relatively easy job. Hole saw in correct location, fit Bullfinch with gasket/mastic, T off nearest gas pipe and rubber hose to Bullfinch (it only has connector for rubber hose), with tap if required. Ours is T'd off of fridge pipe with about 2' of rubber pipe, and has worked well for past two years. Does not affect the fridge working at all and good pressure on BBQ at same time.

Incorrect as the gas feed to the Bullfinch BBQ point has a compression fitting.

You are correct.! Looking at mine, it looks like a bullfinch but there are no markings on it at all, so presume it is a fake. Luckily not had any problems and is still gas tight, but a bit worrying. For the sake of £25 of so, I think I will get a real one to be safe.
