Have owned my moho for 2.5 years now
I am thinking of booking to goto the British super Bikes event at Brands Hatch in July has anyone stayed during the event whats the campsite like?

My Son and I went there many..many years ago, at that time there was no 'campsite'.. just a field where it was a free for all.

Motorhomes mixed in with tents etc, we were in a tent, woken up in the morning by some twat in a VW thing running his engine, filling our tent with fumes to 'get warm', A few choice words in his direction explaining the error of his ways stopped him.

I would contact Brands and ask about the 'camping' area first.

Hi

I went the other year for the season finale- it was ok. The campsite is 10 minute walk from the circuit In the last couple of years I have beent ot Brands, Outlon Park, Silvertone and Donnington- I would rank them-

Donnington- is epic as you are camped on the infield
Outlon (would have been joint top if I hadn't had to pitch on the side of a hill)
Brands
Silverstone

Been to Oulton Park bsb gets very busy and roudy. Not been to Brands though.
I liked Oulton as you can park/ camp very close to the circuit- the trouble was that my pitch was on the bank and even with levelling ramps the van was 6" out of level- this alone ruined it for me.

Brands- I would assume it would be good in July- I went late Sept/ early Oct- it was cold, wet and muddy

There was reports this year of solar panels going missing at BSB events.

Yes this true, but lots of folks in tents/ van have the mobile ones which are just reared up next to their pitch and are easily pinched if some low life feels like doing

Went in October to watch final round and we stayed on general campsite and it was noisy until about 2 in the morning. Lots of large groups turn up together with there own marquee’s and have there own raves going until the early hours. Every other pitch seems to have a genie running as well.
But it is worth it to be able to watch some of the closest racing in any championship. We will be there next year.

The family campsite is a lot quieter with stricter noise limits but it gets booked up quite quick.

I am off to cadwell for August BH weekend as its local
