I'm hoping to change the rubber seals in my windows today. Apparently good practice is to glue the ends together to form a perfect endless seal but I'm unable to trim the seal as a perfect end. I'm only going to get one shot at it so has anybody got any handy hints for the perfect straight cut.
Also what might be the best glue to use in tiny doses, at the moment I'm looking at gorrila contact adhesive for its flexibility.

Hi overlap both ends of the seal and cut through both together, this will mean if you do not get the cut perfectly square the ends will still match. I have used Gorilla clear glue with good results.

Use a new clean craft blade ,in its holder, to cut the rubbers also. (y)

I thought this was a thread about lockdown haircuts. I must admit I’m mildly disappointed now ;)
Sorry I can’t help but good luck with your request.
Sorry you are leaving this thread: parting is such sweet sorrow! :)
