Hi all.
It’s kind of in the title really, a friend wants an A class with twin singles but may consider a low profile between 7m and 7.5m the shorter the better With a garage, down sizing from a bigger A class, weight doesn’t matte. The shower needs to be separate from the loo it can be in the same room but not a wet room. Has to be high quality up to 140k to spend. Niesmann do an Arto at 7.5 m but the loo slides in and out? Also seen a Hymer 580 4x4.

This is going to be hard one Thanks

As you suggest it will be difficult, you can get a MORELO home with single beds at 7.85m, the single beds pushes it up by 0.5m so if you could entertain a transverse bed it would bring in more choice otherwise it just has to give somewhere else.

I don't know if you would consider used?

Carthago C-CompactLine or C-Tourer. The 143 has twin singles (can be made into a king sized bed), and the loo is separated from the shower by a screen which works well. Under 7m with a massive garage. What’s not to like 🙂

Burstner i720 IXEO A Class. It is 7.4m long and has a rear bathroom with good sized shower, toilet and wardrobe.

We have one and we love it!

Hymer BMC I 580 is 6.99m long on a Merc base but FWD.
Knaus Van TI 650 (MAN chassis) and Frankia M line 7400 good ( Merc RWD) are other options

A tad over what your looking for but how about this. 790L

Very nice but too long
Thanks

I think Carthago sell some - even on a Merc chassis (who'd want Fiat?) - and 7m long (or very close).

Very happy with my Compactline i143. Twin beds and 6.99m long. Shower has a proper screen but shares bathroom space with hand basin and toilet. We find it works well and use the shower daily. Big garage and lots of underfloor storage.

I prefer the Carthago’s Fiat/Al-Ko chassis, nicer to drive than previous Merc chassis on my Hymer, quieter, less bouncy and better at staying in a straight line.

For a coach built how about a Hobby T 65 GE at 7 metres. Love mine. Big garage and shower.

Just to follow on from the above, we have the shorter Carthago C-Compactline i-138 - when we got it we were looking at the longer twin single bed i-143 version but didn't want to go that long so ours is only 6.41m, however the 'compromise' of not having twin singles has actually turned out to be a boon. Ours has 2 double beds, one at the rear and one at the front, which we use individually with the benefit that we are able to sprawl out with no width restriction as you can get with single beds, no disturbances if one of us gets up to go to the loo in the night or if one of us wants to read whilst the other wants to sleeps (ie no light to disturb them), and one massive bonus ... if hubby snores as he's so far away he doesn't disturb me. :giggle: After 'discovering' the benefit of having 'beds at separate ends' I'm not sure we'd ever go back to twin singles (which we had previously).

As it's a Compactline model it's only 2.12m wide although you can get similar layouts in the standard width Carthago range too.

Prob not on your radar but the Adria Sonic Axess 600SL is quite short at 6.99m and I believe you can order one on the 4400kg chassis. The one below isn’t, it’s on 3500kg chassis

Deathleffs Globus I 1 A class transverse double at the back, drop down double at the front so twin double beds 5.99 m long with a garage under the rear transverse bed.
