Having just lost my second Thule awning in four years to bad weather (and maybe should have wound it in earlier!) has anyone got any solid recommendations for a retractable electric awning with wind sensor?

A quick google search brought up the following,
Any help?
Mike.

We have the Dometic PR4500, which is the electric one with wind sensor. It has no legs and just retracts itself if the wind gets up. It's also more sturdy than most, as it has to be (no legs to support it).

Been really happy with it, but I don't think they are made anymore.

What about having a word with GH?

We have a thule 9200 electric awning it uses a 240v nice shutter motor so needs a inverter, the 12v models don't use a remote control to operate they have a fix switch. Easy job to wind in yourself whilst holding it if the wind gets up, not sure if you can fit a wind sensor or not.
