I’m a newbie
There’s a large illuminated switch under the step control on my 2007 Cheyenne. I’m assuming it’s for a light?
Any ideas what light?
It doesn’t seem to do anything but has power to it.
Thanks I n advance.

How about awning light?

I assume your not talking about the fridge fan control, so is the switch directly below the step switch?
it could be an awning/ outside light switch.

Is it for isolation of the battery if using a hook up? Plug in and see what the information board says

I assumed it was an outside light switch. But that only comes on when I press AUX on controller box. This switch doesn’t seem to affect the outside light or the battery.
I haven’t tried it in the dark yet though. So that will be my next move.

We had a similar switch in a van it was a locker or garage light. The led illuminated to remind you it was on.

I read elsewhere that it’s for cooling fans on the fridge for use in warmer clims

Slightly different switch, mine puts the light on above the door ?
If the big part of your switch console is an actual switch then it will put a light on in the locker

Our awning light only comes on when it’s dark, might yours be the same?

Being by the door so that it can be reached from the outside it surely is something that needs to be switched on as a safety item?
