The local council should just ban motorhomes and campervans from parking there, what pleasure is there in parking like those in the photos, the mind boggles.

Its not just the parking, its parking on the pavement and a levelling block along with chairs on the pavement (not my idea of a good time away in a MoHo). In fairness any seaside town with parking along the front has nose to tail vehicles. The authorities could if they wish provide suitable parking for MoHo's.

That road has a very steep camber: I don’t park with my wheels on the pavement but it is difficult to get in and out if my hab door is on the beach side.

When I do park there I leave sufficient space between my front end and next door to get in and out of the space: who wouldn’t? So how does that stop people accessing the pavement? Sometimes cars choose to park closer than that, so let’s share any blame around please.

Setting up seats and tables on the prom is not acceptable: car owners also do that. So have a bye law preventing this problem rather than ban innocent motorhomers from parking.

Are there any touring parks in Felixstowe? With my MH as my only source of transportation, I will still need to drive to the on-road parking spots or go elsewhere.

The Mayor needs to look at the whole picture.

Mr Verrsey sounds like a very nice man. Although I do sympathise to a degree. There are alternatives areas in Felixstowe where responsible MoHo’s are welcome for a small fee, but sadly no overnight stops. Perhaps the local council like many many others across the country should think about investing some of their Gov receipts on secure chargeable “Aire” type arrangements.
Rather than some of the other air brained ideas. I.e. miles and miles of dedicated cycle lanes which no one uses, only to them spend £000000 ripping them out after a couple of years. Or paying the Chief Exce highly inflated salaries along with gold plated pensions.
