For Easter this year we took Bella, our Autograph 79-4 to Minnows Touring Park, near Tiverton in Devon.

It is located at the water's edge of the Great Western Canal. It is an adult only site with some lovely walks nearby. Tiverton Town centre is just 7 miles further down the canal.

The Grand Western Canal Country Park and Local Nature Reserve meanders for eleven and a quarter miles through beautiful countryside and quiet villages between the market town of Tiverton and the hamlet of Lowdwells near the Somerset border.

The Grand Western Canal is one of the last few canals where Horse-drawn barges can still be seen.

I've been notified by the owners that they have fully tested extension leads to borrow. :giggle:

I'll second this recommendation. An excellent site and only a 15 minute walk along the towpath to the Globe Inn in Sampford Peverell.

We were there a couple of weeks ago, I agree a great site, there is a bit of road noise though as it is wedged between the M5 and the A361.
