Decided to replace our current leisure batteries (Banner lead acid) after 3.5 years of use as we are heading to Alps shortly. Decided to go with a couple of Yuasa EFB 100 amp batteries given recent reviews. Alpha were excellent and the cost was circa £220 ish including vent tubes for the two. Top marks to Peter of Alpha who was very helpful.

I know Banner have a poor reputation and we are light off grid users (70% hook up 30% off grid) but if you have them, it is essentially that they are checked about twice a year as they are not maintenance free. I believe that is why they have lasted this long!
