Howling Lane, sat nav brought us round an odd route in but found it, very tight entrance particularly in the pitch black it was at 5 last night

Beautiful today been for a nice walk round the town had a nice meal in ‘The Dirty Bottles’ last night

Definitely need levelling blocks if you don’t have E&P

Staying for a third night tonight, had two meals at ‘The Dirty Bottles’ pub, nearest to parking area and a nice place to eat, good ambience , good food , good prices

Did try the Black Swan nearby for a change, had a dodgy beer from a grumpy landlord and left beer unfinished, thankfully before we had ordered food

We nearly bought a house in Alnwick many years ago.

Daughter passed her car driving test at the Alnwick test centre. She now drives buses for a living!!! The bus test was done in Glasgow.

Not familiar with Howling Lane, but Alnwick Rugby Club is a good stopover with some facilities.

I did see it on S4S but not open over winter and further out from town centre, but closer to Aldi

It is the flower symbol on the map nearest to town
